Normal price for the chocolate version is $54.99 in stores and it's been a while since they offered a discount on the chocolate version. Costco doesn't sell Vanilla in stores, so a slight discount for a very clean protein.

I've tried both vanilla and chocolate and love it. Also tried the Optimum Nutrition and Dymatize proteins, and those just tasted too sweet/artificial to me.

I typically don't like Vanilla flavored protein but the Ascent version is surprisingly good! Add a bit of Cinnamon to the mix!

I'm not a fan of the Ascent chocolate as I think the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate is much better tasting
