But you should note that there's not going to be a discernable difference over 1080P with these screens. Heck, even 720P from Hulu is passable at times.
The biggest impact will be faster battery drain.
If you're primarily going to output content to a TV, the $20 Onn media player is a much better option.

I have the 4GB version and while i had hopes that the extra ram would help, this thing is still slow. When I bought mine I was able to remove most of the Amazon bloatware to make it close to a stock Android tablet. This you can't do to the same extent anymore with the newer firmware. I've posted in other forums but these tablets are junk. Even for kids they are going to complain to you about it being slow. I notice issues running Youtube and trying to switch to just another app all of the time. There is a reason why these things are so cheap and they get progressively worse as the applications get even more bloatware.
