I've sailed a lot with Celebrity and I must say these "flash sales" all basically reflect a common pricing. They might move one lever but you'll get an equal cost to whatever deal they had prior to this.

For example, now they don't include tips in the all inclusive so while rates are lower the tips offset whatever you'd have paid prior to this.

Never taken a cruise yet. Is tip a requirement? What if I don't tip? Will I get thrown off?

Base tip is always required but you could go make a stink later about something I'm sure.

They require pre-tipping before any services are rendered. It's a scam that all cruise lines play.

I'm afraid you will have to join the fight club for that.

No, typically flights are not included with these cruise package prices as they don't know where you will be flying from so flight prices can vary a lot.

The stupidest question ever asked. How do they know where their customers are flying from?

You're not very good at this.

FIGHTS are notorious on cruise.

the flights will be garbage through the cruise line, it is always better to book separately.

The cruise line will find the absolute cheapest way to get you there via horrible layovers and departure times.

I don't know where others cruising with but last few times on NCL you can always adjust tips. They never added tips in advance, unless they packages special services or promotions now those are scams.

Unlimited drink package for example. They will have promo "FREE" but if you don't check closely, they will bill you $200 tips for free service. Same with FREE specialty restaurants.

It's cheaper to get a stateroom without extras and just do on demand.

When you check out you can adjust your tips for regular stay, they will leave a final bill with suggested tips but honestly these guys deserve the tips. Cruise line workers are very hard working, smiling, courteous of all people. Don't skimp on tipping, tip the amount you think is reasonable.

I don't know latest if they actually force you now. I also never sailed with X, just NCL and RC.

As for sales.... No such a thing. "Kids sail free" or "3rd person half off".. It's a scam. Unless you are frequent sailer, gambler, or heavy cruise Credit Card user, you won't get much.

Do Not fall for advance deposit on future cruise, in exchange for on board credit as well!

Over and out.
