Always wait 24 hours before you plug in any fridge or freezer after moving. It can destroy the compressor if you don't...
Not "garage ready" if anyone was wondering.
from manual:
Note: This appliance performs well with ambient temperature between 55F to 110F. The appliance may not work properly if left at a temperature above or below the indicated range.
Mora is a rebranded Hisense so not exactly a small manufacturer, though if we're talking lesser-known appliance brands I would prefer Midea. Still, pretty amazing price for a stainless bottom-drawer unit and reviews are solid. Costco will take care of you if you have any issues.

Anybody know if these are on display anywhere?
These are rebranded Hisense Model #HRB171N6ASE. Would be easier to find this on display.

Good deal if anyone needs a mid-size refrigerator to fit a small kitchen or a short-depth cabinet (which usually costs more).

Pay more now or pay-a Mora later. But seriously, it's Costco. If it dies in 5 years, take it back.

You can't fit a chest freezer anywhere in your house? They're cheaper, and more efficient

Got this a year ago. No problems and fits great into my smaller kitchen.

i bought this a few days ago, it was delivered yesterday. i didn't want an ice maker or water dispenser so, for $600, this is perfect. the only snag is, i need the door to swing the other way. the delivery guys will not flip it - you have to call costco and the will send someone else to come do it, which means waiting until next week. the delivery guys will only plug it in to the outlet to make sure it powers up, and install the door handle - which will have to get changed when the door gets reversed. the door swings left to right - if you buy this and need it the other way, you might want to call ahead and get someone to come out closer to when it gets installed.

diy !?!?

Thanks for that info. Amazon letting so many Chinese flea market products on their site under fake brands has ruined my ability to tell what is a real brand or not.

It's 2024 and I am surprised a selling point for this item in the Costco title is "with LED Interior Lighting". I would think that is a given...if not an expectation.

You probably have to take out 4 screws and some plugs to flip it. Should be pretty straightforward.

I would be a lot more concerned it was plugged in right after moving it. You need to stand it up for 24 hours like someone already said.

I feel like those insurance commercials about stop acting like your parents. I tell people that if I see them stuffing one of these in their minivan in front of Costco.

The installers were required to plug it in, apparently. Also, they said if I tried to flip the door and damaged anything, it would void the warranty. I could have done it in 10 minutes, but it didn't cost me anything to have them send someone to do it. It's fine, it all worked out and I'm happy with the purchase.

Delivery drivers don't lay down refrigerators so it should be fine to plug in.

Is there any good summary of advantages/disadvantages of different fridge/freezer types? I see this style at good prices, but my limited experience has not been great with drawer freezers. I'm curious if they are more efficient, or more space, cheaper to build, or something.
Currently looking for a combo model that would be cheap to run in an air-conditioned garage.
