Dell refurbished are off lease items, typically 3 or more years old. They are typically cosmetically flawed, and old technology. A $200 machine with a processor with under 10,000 passmark rating, mechanical drive, and limited memory is not horrible if that is all you need or all you can afford, but for under $500 you can get a brand new machine with a processor that is twice as powerful, solid state drive, and a full warranty.
Dell Outlet are mostly returns and current models or closeouts sold at a slight discount from new. Dell Outlet are fully warranted and look like new. These are not Dell Outlet. These are Dell Refurbished.
