Seems to me like someone just stole our Hilton Honors login information. Logging in at https://www.hilton.com still shows me at the lowest tier, not Silver.
Personally I think Hilton has the weakest tier recognition. The breakfast fiasco from last year -- where they took away the free breakfast perk in exchange for a lousy property credit was the last straw for me. I suspect this is largely due to the AMEX Aspire card, which sells top-tier Diamond status for $550.

Generally, rewards programs aside, I think Hilton excels at the lower levels (Hamptons, Homewoods, etc) versus Marriott and Hyatt. Their brands are really consistent, hotels are generally well kept, etc. At the higher levels, think LXR, Curio, Conrad, etc... Hilton almost always disappoints me. The hotels in this range are either really tired, have borderline service, or are new-ish with impressive lobbies but cheap-o rooms that were slapped together.

I went to Hyatt and I haven't looked back. Totally get that doesn't work for everyone given their footprint, but it has worked for me.
Seems legit to me. Navan is a business travel portal service and Eloqua is the marketing firm that provided the perk, both are mentioned in the URL tracking parameters. I guess time will tell

Definitely feeling like I just gave my info away after realizing... the legit hilton website is hilton.com vs this link hiltonhonors.com and when I got my verification email the sender address was from [email protected]

I dont know what the h6 is.

Checked my status before clicking on the link and I was only a "member". Still showing as only member.

h6.hilton.com is just a subdomain of hilton.com.

Hilton.com is registered to:
Organization: Hilton International Holding LLC
Mailing Address: VA, US

hiltonhonors.com is ALSO registered to the same company

Doesn't seem to work for me. It says I'm already registered. I'm not Silver status.

Anything before hilton.com is still part of the same website. I'm pretty sure there's nothing to worry about but changed my password anyways.

Why bother? Get one of their AMEX Co-branded credit cards, receive status without a single stay.
Aren't they like $500? Is it worth the yearly fee?

$550 a year…

But you get:
Diamond Status with Hilton plus:

A $50 per quarter ($200/yr) airline credit for any flights from any airline
A $200 per half-year ($400/yr) Hilton Resort credit good for any charges including room at any Hilton Resort
A free, no-cap-on-point-cost night certificate annually
A $189 credit toward CLEAR membership
A $100 Hilton property credit at Conrad or Waldorf properties

The last 2 are pretty low value for most people… but just using the first 2 which are much easier means the net fee is $150 a year for a free night at ANY Hilton hotel (that can cost 5-10x $150 for that night) plus Diamond Status.

Oh, you also earn an extra 14x Hilton points on any $ you spend at Hilton properties on the card.

Plus of course there's the signup bonus that has recently been as high as 180,000 Hilton points.

Thanks for this! I have to watch for deals like this around the New Year each year to maintain my Gold status.

I tend to stay at Hilton hotels between 10-20 nights a year, between vacation and business. Without these deals, I would easily not be able to maintain Gold.

Most of their hotels I've been to go out of their way for Gold members. At the common hotels like Hampton, they usually give you free drinks and snacks at check in. At the higher end ones that have a restaurant attached or resort stuff, you'll get $20+ credit a day for there. I often also book a standard king room, and ask for available upgrades on check in. I've gotten corner room king suites on high floors before for free! It's an available option to ask for Gold and Diamond.

Exactly the same.
Hyatt. Best bang for your buck especially when you have points to book hotels.

There are 3, from free to $450, each includes a different level of status. Premium cards offers significant benefits, is a moneymaker if you use them.

Thoughts on Hilton vs Marriott? I do about 60 nights a year and have titanium status with Marriott. Wondering if it's worth the swap to Hilton.
To be honest Hilton and IHG are the BEST hotel rewards programs!

You can always create a new account and then, merge the two accounts. Hilton is the most generous hotel rewards program and allows this. Here are the details: https://help.hilton.com/s/article...th%20yours

100% correct.

Fortunately, this promo only applies to Navan corporate travel customers. This means even if people clicked on the link to register, they will not be able to earn Gold unless they use Naval travel services.

I have Marriott Platinum, and am curious to try out Hilton, so this might be a good promo, combined with the bonus points offer of digital key.

Not sure it's worth losing late check out benefit of Marriot Platinum though.
You could always do the Hilton status match offer that offers Gold immediately and you can maintain it if you stay a minimum number is time ls in 90 days.

I am a diamond member. Once a year, I receive an email to send diamond membership as a gift. I think there was another one for a gold membership gift status upgrade.
anyhow, if you have a friend with a diamond membership, ask him if he had received any imitations to gift status to anyone .

If you ever pay with your points and have a nightmare experience that you have to leave the hotel , good luck getting those points back it took three months for me.
Location I had stayed had dirty /smelly unchanged sheets in the very first bedroom and even in the second one they showed me . Let alone getting any kickback because of the inconvenience, I just appreciated that I was able to get my points back after three months of struggle.
