Generally, rewards programs aside, I think Hilton excels at the lower levels (Hamptons, Homewoods, etc) versus Marriott and Hyatt. Their brands are really consistent, hotels are generally well kept, etc. At the higher levels, think LXR, Curio, Conrad, etc... Hilton almost always disappoints me. The hotels in this range are either really tired, have borderline service, or are new-ish with impressive lobbies but cheap-o rooms that were slapped together.
I went to Hyatt and I haven't looked back. Totally get that doesn't work for everyone given their footprint, but it has worked for me.

$550 a year…
But you get:
Diamond Status with Hilton plus:
A $50 per quarter ($200/yr) airline credit for any flights from any airline
A $200 per half-year ($400/yr) Hilton Resort credit good for any charges including room at any Hilton Resort
A free, no-cap-on-point-cost night certificate annually
A $189 credit toward CLEAR membership
A $100 Hilton property credit at Conrad or Waldorf properties
The last 2 are pretty low value for most people… but just using the first 2 which are much easier means the net fee is $150 a year for a free night at ANY Hilton hotel (that can cost 5-10x $150 for that night) plus Diamond Status.
Oh, you also earn an extra 14x Hilton points on any $ you spend at Hilton properties on the card.
Plus of course there's the signup bonus that has recently been as high as 180,000 Hilton points.
I tend to stay at Hilton hotels between 10-20 nights a year, between vacation and business. Without these deals, I would easily not be able to maintain Gold.
Most of their hotels I've been to go out of their way for Gold members. At the common hotels like Hampton, they usually give you free drinks and snacks at check in. At the higher end ones that have a restaurant attached or resort stuff, you'll get $20+ credit a day for there. I often also book a standard king room, and ask for available upgrades on check in. I've gotten corner room king suites on high floors before for free! It's an available option to ask for Gold and Diamond.

Fortunately, this promo only applies to Navan corporate travel customers. This means even if people clicked on the link to register, they will not be able to earn Gold unless they use Naval travel services.
I have Marriott Platinum, and am curious to try out Hilton, so this might be a good promo, combined with the bonus points offer of digital key.
Not sure it's worth losing late check out benefit of Marriot Platinum though.

anyhow, if you have a friend with a diamond membership, ask him if he had received any imitations to gift status to anyone .
If you ever pay with your points and have a nightmare experience that you have to leave the hotel , good luck getting those points back it took three months for me.
Location I had stayed had dirty /smelly unchanged sheets in the very first bedroom and even in the second one they showed me . Let alone getting any kickback because of the inconvenience, I just appreciated that I was able to get my points back after three months of struggle.
