It's amazing how they drop, looking at M:I 1-6 digital codes on the secondary market, you can get most now for $2-3.

In a year you'll be able to buy the 4k + bluray + digital for 10 bucks. Having just a little patience will reward people with higher quality and better collections.

Plus it's an obvious 2 parter, so why not just wait for the second part to drop?

I have to say for anyone who hasn't seen it, it's (imo) not one of the best. I've loved nearly all the MI movies (#2 being the exception), but this one just didn't feel like an MI experience. It's missing a key heist/break-in set piece, for one. The bad guy is just some generic angry dude, rather than someone memorable. Just go in without expectations and you should be fine.

I enjoyed this movie. However, I'll rather get them on physical 4K w/digital code. I can wait for 2nd part to see at theater, then when it's on 4K, I'll get both then.

You summed this up perfectly. I 100% agree with everything you stated. That was my exact takeaway as well.

Mission Impossible III was such an amazing springboard for the franchise to build on and they knocked it out of the park for years. I had such high expectations and just felt, "meh" about it. My biggest hope is that part II is so good that it makes part 1 a better movie when we have them both available to watch back to back.

I'm the opposite. I find that this is the best one so far. I hated when the franchise made Jim a bad guy & killed him. However, I agreed with you that this one doesn't have the MI feel to it. I guess that's why I like this one much more out of all the MI movies.

Agreed. I actually thought this one was terrible. Was really bummed since I love the others so much.

This is how a Bond film should've been made. It was too good.

Didn't like this movie at all. Worst of the series IMO. First hour was good. Middle was drawn out and boring. Last 30-45 minutes was just dumb.

This movie is an experience. If you didnt watch it in iMax, or god forbid, on TV speakers, you missed 50% of the movie

But, on the positive side...Hayley Atwell. She should get her own movie titled 'Yams a'plenty'.
