Good price, but non-replaceable battery sucks. This is essentially disposable e-waste.

No one keeps their tile app on because Android users are just different from Apple users. It's pretty interesting... So tiles are very close to useless if you're hoping to keep track of something out of Bluetooth range. My bags went to Europe and I never saw anything until the tiles got in range of my phone.

The air tags are very useful because it pings off of other iPhones. You can now share the AirTags too with other people. Now I just need a good collar AirTag holder for my dog.

Not a bad price, but in the long term Tile Pro on sale for ~$20 each will save you money and be less wasteful.

Tile also "pings" off of anyone mobile device it sees that has the tile app installed -- anonymously of course. I have been using tile for years. These don't have replaceable batteries which is indeed a shame.

Agreed, airtags and their knockoffs (routinely less than $5 from alixprss) are infinitely more useful than tile since the functionality is built in to iOS. I don't know a single person that uses tile.

It doesn't get much publicity, but I've done side-by-side tests and Samsung trackers seem to get more frequent updates from anonymous phones than airtags. If you're a couple with one iphone and one galaxy, the best option for tracking your stuff is one of each. Google delayed the release of its own find my network, but when that comes out it will be useful as well.

And agreed with everyone else, Tile is useless.

As a non-Samsung Android user from way back, I got set up with Tile years ago, and they've worked fine throughout that time. Some caveats: I live in an urban area, so the doubtlessly lower adoption rate of Tile isn't a problem thanks to the sheer volume of foot traffic near my Tiles. I've always figured that Tile would be acquired or just go under at some point, and I still wouldn't buy into the ecosystem expecting a lifetime of service. And I exclusively buy models with replaceable batteries (some sealed models can be cracked open, but it's a pain), so that rules out this deal for me.
