  • An excellent price on this bundle. This is $7 less than the Frontpage Deal from last year with similar $20 gift cards.
  • Please see original post for additional details & give the WIKI and additional forum comments a read for helpful discussion.

No, I'm wondering how much that costs?

"One state program download included-A $39.95 value (does not include e-file fee)"
Thank you. No deal for me here.

The e-file is usually $20-$25 depending on how greedy these software tax preparers are, and HR Block is greedy based on my previous experience with them.

I feel like this is in the mist@ke area. I think the lowest I've ever seen is $18 and now it's $8? My bet is this was meant to be priced at $28 for the H&R Block then $20 for the Starbucks. But I ordered and they've both been delivered. Great deal!

Is the e-file for a State included in the price?
One state program download included. State e-file is sold separately (You buy when you file with state inside software).

This is how they always sell the bundle.

Five free federal e-files are always included, but they never include free State e-file as it changes from one state to another in terms of cost. Plus not everyone needs for example people living in FL and TX. Also some may need multiple states eFile.

Wow what a great deal. Thank you. Bought 2, one for me one for my working college kid. Free e-file for Federal and filing State is so easy to just mail in. There are just a few pages and it costs a stamp. Big deal.

The free versions online are way too limited. Pony up for the $8 and enjoy your coffee.

Your college kid should qualify for free e-filling from a number of sites. Stop giving these scumbags money. All the free versions have the same full filing features of Premium.

This is the best deal on this software for net cost of $8, if you consider $20 gift card as good as money. It has never been this low, price mistake or not. If you're in the market, get it.

I jumped on the $20 deluxe+state a few weeks back. No looking back now. 😅

I've been using TaxAct for years, but the price keeps going up. Pretty sure I paid like $140 for it last year. It's super convenient that it saves all my info from the previous year and inputting everything is fairly painless for the current year, but I'd prefer not to spend that much again. Anyone use TaxAct and switch to this in a previous year??
