Here's how to get additional $20 off since welcome-coupons are not accepted for refurbished models:
1. Sign up for Segway account
2. Go to Milage club page (https://store.segway.co
3. You should have 600pts on your account available.
Redeem those points for $20 coupon (it's single-use and not linked to your account btw.)
Done. Enjoy

Which would you go with? What's the best value in your opinion?
It really depends on what you're looking for. I ordered a D18W the other day. Even knocked off an additional $20 with a WELCOME20 code. I'm replacing a G30LP that I picked up in the previous sale and returned. It cost $330 and seemed like an overkill since I need it to commute to my office that is 1.5 miles away, twice a week. The D18W is an entry level scooter and won't get you too far, but it's a new model, well built, and the few reviews I've read were pretty much positive. From what I understand, you should avoid the E series. It is older, has a bunch of known issues, and is not easy to repair. Everyone's raving about the G series, but the F series here should also be solid choice, and a bit more affordable too.
Are the batteries the same in the ES4 vs the ES3 models?

No, not really. There is one wire for the display. Just disconnect the display, shorten the tube and reconnect. Leaving the extra in the tube, I only want to remove about 3 inches. I would need to redrill for the fasteners that hold the head one.
