I used to love Cici's as a teenager. Now in my mid 30s, I go about once a year to remind myself why I only go once a year. After my most recent visit (and my local store is probably the nicest & cleanest one in the whole company - a germophobe owns it) I think I'm finally going to cease my annual visits. No bad experiences, just tired of the terrible food quality. Cheapest ingredients imaginable, "high gluten" dough, watered down ranch, broccoli always starting to mold. Not to mention you always feel like crap every time you leave regardless of how full (or not) you get. The only pizza really worth it there is the flatbread-like pizzas they sometimes serve simply because it's less crappy dough, but it still has the crappy toppings. I finally learned my lesson and added it to my 'banned' list. I'm sure most people (especially those with kids) will disagree with me and that's fine (not trying to be the diabetes guy in the soda thread), just giving my two cents for anyone not familiar with them.
Pizza buffets are a dying breed. Only reason I enjoy going to cicis is to remind me how awesome Pizza Hut *used* to be.
Get the whole team together after a win and storm Pizza Hut at lunch time. Managers would panic and say "MORE PEPPERONI! MORE SAUSAGE!" as we poured in the door.
I feel like it depends on the location. There's a few near me, and some are good while others are worse quality. I will say their pizzas are very oily, but you can ask them to make any pizza free of charge (like Flatbread), which is a plus.

I go every few months tha to cocoa and just like on the limited salad bar. And eat maybe 2 pieces of pizza a couple plates of salad. I think it's just fine for $8-10 hate when people act all high and mighty. Sometimes you want to be able to eat a couple of plates of food for the price of McDonald's. Everything in moderation.
guys never been to cicis, so u have to tip? 20% is $1... lollll

You serve yourself
What's McDonalds waiting for to add a tip option on their App or Store kiosk ?
After all, you are expected to Tip when you order, pay, get the food, and dump the trash yourself.

If you can't afford to tip, you can't afford to go out.
Never understood this reasoning. If customers don't tip, you still have a job. If no more customers, then no more job.
How can I check if a location participates? I tried checking the store page for Naperville, IL... And the page seemed to indicate dine in seating, so I'm assuming they participate. I guess calling and asking is the way to go here? Also, does anyone know if all food on the menu is included for this deal? I didn't think I saw any exclusions... wondering especially about the sides like jalapeno poppers
edit: pizza ranch is also a pretty decent pizza buffet place, but I only know of them in like Wisconsin and Iowa

What's funny is people complaining about the quality of the pizza at Cici's. It's cheap ass pizza for a ridiculously low price. It's not artisanal pizza. I will always take the cheap pizza over the expensive one. It's pizza , as long as it's not burnt or raw it'll taste good.

I've never eaten at a Cici's as there isn't one within at least hundred miles from me. For a $4.99 all you can eat buffet, I'd walk out happy so long as I didn't get food poisoning. If there were on by me, I'd drop by every week because at that price, that usually just gets me a drink around here.

Cicis just doesn't have the same energy
Someone online posted a picture of their small town pizza hut going back to retro looks with a buffet. So I assume small town doing it means it's probably corporate because that would have been expensive to have all those 1979s-1980s style lamps an decor manufactured just for one small location. Too bad most pizza huts now are just doors you walk in with counters so they would have to move/remodel. Now to bring back the original flavor of their bread sticks tho.....
Facts. Stupidest decision Pizza Hut ever made. Now they have tons of the old large restaurants and every last one of them is literally always a ghost town because there is absolutely zero reason to dine-in. So why pay to maintain the large buildings? It doesn't make any sense. And since they took the Domino's model, well, sorry but Domino's does it better and cheaper. The icing on the cake was when PH took away the Peruvian cherry peppers as a topping. Haven't been back since.

You are in NY. Cicis ain't bad but NYs would protest "not bad" pizza. All the ones to the south of you (around me) are closed. I have no clue why. It was good an I make the best frikkin pizzas myself everyday. No one makes pizzas like I do loaded with anything an everything. very little dough, fresh ingredients, an tons of crazy ideas (like cheddar cheese, 1/2 lb bacon onion garlic with mashed potato sauce the other day) . Was saddened to see this an look it up an be reminded all cicis closed cause I would go

Cici's is $4.99
It's almost triple the price, not a few bucks more.
