This is not activated by default. You have to login to your spectrum account and find your current services and activate the disney+ (if you are eligible).

Then you access disney+ like you have in the past... via your smart tv or roku or whatever.

I still can't find it anywhere within my Spectrum account management. I do have TV Select package so I should qualify.

No reason to spend money to upgrade the select forge basic Disney +. If you are already on select, go for it.

I had to create one myself. Even though it's "free" you still have an "account" with them. It's a good idea to do that to, because our apartment complex made a change to what they offered, and we suddenly were getting charged for services we never used. Luckily we got an email about the change and had it canceled immediately.

This isn't like one year free then paid subscription later?

It's free forever as long as you have a Spectrum TV account?

Worked for me. I cancelled my existing subscription and then activated. Shows up and looks correct. Get Hulu from TMobile starting later this month and already get Netflix through them, so all covered now.

Thanks OP and Dilbertic for the link!
