I usually get my Windows License from sites like CDKeys. Had no clue Groupon sold Windows Licenses until today.
Just apply Code, add to cart, and purchase. Took about 2 minutes to process and redeem code. Just follow the instructions on Groupon. Instructions are also emailed to you.
You can use your license to upgrade from Windows 10 and Windows 11 Home edition. I made a USB Windows 11 Pro Install Boot Drive (instructions on Microsoft) and did a clean install.
Great thing about this License, I didn't have to call the Windows hotline to activate. For those that have been through it after buying from "Key" sites know very well what I mean.

Nobody seems to have problems with the "grey market" keys like these, so if you wanna save $140 vs buying a retail license then go ahead, just know you are violating MS terms of use, and I have a crazy theory, that with all the problems windows has MS messes with you if you use a license against their terms and they find out (still working on proving that one lol).
note an OEM license cannot be transferred to new hardware/motherboard (unlike genuine retail license), well it can, but MS knows if you do this im sure if pc connects to internet with hardware ID
IMO the best bet is to buy a sealed retail box on ebay for $50 or so, you own that license and can transfer it to any new system. most likely they are not counterfeits but maybe they are? (anyone with a shrink wrapper could just reseal it too) a $150 retail license is pretty insane but ive bought them before for peace of mind, and with the convenience of windows vs say linux id say worth every penny.

You're talking in pounds… so I'm assuming you're not from the States… seems to me according to the Fine Print of this deal, it's only available in the 50 States… which is the USA
Exactly… not sure what OS that guy uses… obviously not a gamer where Windows is literally the ONLY real choice for complete compatibility of virtually any major game. Try gaming on a Mac… not a good experience whatsoever
As for Linux… haven't used regularly in at least 15 years give or take… those were the days of also playing around with BeOS… but stopped using them after needing to use certain hardware and software that was ONLY compatible with Windows. I also have lots of MacOS and iOS devices.

I've never had a problem with ANY of the keys I've bought from CDKeys, Kinguin, etc. A few months ago I once had to go through calling the Windows Hotline. I thought at that time I was for sure scammed. Went through the process with the Windows Tech person… got the Windows activated through them. Legit enough for me.

MSDN blacklists entire lists of keys time to time when they find out it's being resold like this.
Just because MS doesn't enforce it 24/7 doesn't mean they don't enforce it at all. These may last a few months but then they can void out. Against their agreements for both devs/vendors & the customer (us) both.

Openly encouraging SD'ers to violate Microsoft's terms of use may save lots of money, but I don't think this is right or smart.

As for the code, I placed an order in December and one of the extensions I have that tries coupon codes for you came up with AKSDEC55. That was expired when I went to purchase Project and Visio 2021 once they were back in stock this week, and I speculatively tried changing the DEC in the coupon code to Jan and it worked. Checkout isn't currently working for me, so I can't verify it, but I did see that one of the sites that the extension uses to source codes (CouponBirds) had now added AKSJan55 to their list.
