Exhaust can be on a dimmer switch (dimmer feature disabled) or standard Kasa switch.

My setup is as follows: Light fades on via Kasa motion sensor dimmer switch, exhaust fan only activates via separate Kasa standard switch. Smart rule setup that when the light times out after 30 minutes, it also shuts off the exhaust switch (if it's on). Exhaust is only activated by manual press of the switch.

You typically only need one motion sensor switch in a room. You can use smart actions/rules (kind of If This, Then That) to operate other smart switches or outlets. I also scheduled a rule so that the bathroom light operates at 30% (dim lighting) from 11 PM - 7 AM. Avoids those blinding night trips to the bathroom.

Mind the fact that you need a neutral wire at each switch. Dimmable bulbs for any dimming activity.

For those that put these in bathrooms, how do you handle the exhaust?

Still showing for me as "Limited Time Deal" at $22.99, with checkbox $5 coupon available to bring it to the $17.99 deal price.

How do you know? That may be only for a short time. Oftentimes everybody sells at the same discounted price, and then it goes back. It's XXI century.

You are surely not taking the $5 into account. But yes, I know how to read the graph at the top of the page.

I know because I follow kasa closely since all of my switches are from them

Anyone else having problems with these randomly turning on? Sort of defeats the purpose.

I used to have that issue, but resolved by adjusting the sensitivity in the app. Been good since dialing down the sensitivity in our pantry switch. Seemed like sunlight or shadows was tripping it, all good now.

Are these worthy overall? Anything else similar worth considering? Seems nice for both motion and dimming at this price from a reputable name.

How good are these? I currently have all GE dimmer switches in my house minus the basement. Should I switch to these? Pardon the pun
