I mention it primarily because it should be part of the original post. Those shopping kids pajama may or may not be familiar with the fact that 100% polyester pajamas are generally true to size (so a kid wearing 4T clothes would wear 4T 100% polyester pajamas without problem) whereas 100% cotton pajamas are snug-fit to accomodate regulations [cpsc.gov] around childrens sleepwear (so the best fitting pajama choice can vary, but typically recommends a larger pajama size relative to their current clothing size).
