This gets said every post but just a reminder.

Costco has a 6 qt air fryer for 39.99 frequently and has EXCELLENT return/refund/warranty policy, and is conveniently on the way in most of our cheapskate lives.

If I don't have a Costco membership, is this one from BB a decent model?

Will be my first air fryer. Tired of the large gas oven for a few small items.

Costco's return policy is great but based on my limited research the Bella pro model is preferred to Costco's brand

Anyone ever use this model? This is my first air fryer . I read some of the reviews on best-buys site for the most part pretty good. I actually bought the 4qt manual model yesterday for 20$ and canceled today to order this one instead .

I got the 8 qt version of this bella air fryer and less than a year later it eventually stopped working.

I was able to get my money back by emailing Bella customer service and sending pictures showing it wasn't working + receipt. Took like a month to get the check in the mail 😄

I've been using the 8qt every other day of this model for the past 3 years. Especially now that it's too cold to be outside grilling.

Do they make air fryers with stainless steel bins, or can you swap out the bin for a stainless version? I'd rather not cook foods off of whatever this is made out of…

Other than "Owlmercury" hereon, I have read overwhelmingly good reports regarding the Bella units on SD. Repped, OP.

I'm with you, I don't trust plastic air fryers at 400+ degrees.

you probably want a countertop convection oven with an air fryer basket.

It's not as quick as a plastic/teflon air fryer because the volume is larger (takes longer to heat and cook), but they are all metal. Something like the following, though breville and ninja also make models they advertise as air fryers.

I have a 6qt Bella from Best Buy for last 5+ years and it's been a workhouse. It's basically earlier version of this one. No issues. Touch buttons still work fine. Quality-wise I don't think you'll have any issues, based on my experience.

Only thing to consider is if you like this form factor - pull out tray style. We've made good use out of it as a family.

I got the 4.2 quest Bella a couple of months ago and I use it all the time. It's great.

I got this thing today , used a air fryer for the first time. After a few you tube vids cooked a steak dinner, corn on the cob , curly fries . I'm no chief but if it was served to me at a steak house I couldn't argue, it was excellent! Less than 20 mins including prep and cook time. If anyone was considering this stop hesitating just get it. To the people commenting about plastic , it appears to me it's a metal bin and grate, not stainless But it is metal. I don't know what took me so long to get a air fryer!
