There are the toaster oven type air fryers which usually don't have non-stick touching the food but I think due to the way the basket-type air fryers function it only works well with a non-stick surface for the basket.

Also, if you are just air frying few pieces of chicken fresh each time for 1 or 2 persons, go for no higher than 4 qt. A smaller would do better because hot air will be more efficiently used in smaller volume, and for quicker results. It will also save on unnecessary weR on the unit as well as saves energy.
I've used it for chicken wings, a few kinds of battered shrimp, pork chop, steak, and I'm sure a few other things. This digital one seems like a nice upgrade, but I don't know if I need it any bigger.

Just gotta match something something
Thats what manufacturers deserve for making throwaway items with crappy reliability and having to jump through hoops for decent service/warranty
