These are pretty cool units. This is made with Kardia who makes the EKG cards. Single lead I think but kind of cool. You don't need the phone connected every time to do BP as I understand it, just for the EKG. I have Kardias 6 lead EKG and they are pretty accurate tools. The cardiologists in my health system like them. And OMRON is the gold standard for home BP cuffs as all their units are validated 3rd party. I highly suggest people use validateBP.org when shopping for blood pressure cuffs to make sure they have an accurate unit. Then make sure you are using proper technique.
