You know when you go to menards and go through the pile of 2x4s and toss the warped one to the side? These are the ones you toss to the side.
They take the 2x4s that no one wants, repile them up and put a sale sign on them.

I fell for this once... just once.

So true. They are based in Wisconsin and have had numerous violation of the most basic environmental laws, like burning piles of treated lumber scraps and polluted water releases. They are usually the cheapest on commodities because the products are of poor quality. I avoid them like the plague regardless of price.

Usually 2x4x8 is around $2.50 in home depot, previous 2020 was around $1.45 in HD.
I don't know what the deal it is!
Mail rebate needs get another $0.50 stamp and time....

I don't get why we have to spend another $0.56 cents for the mail and get a $1 or $2 for a rebate where you need to stop again in Menards with another rebate mail to be sent spending $0.56. the cycle continues.
