I have one of these and performance is great. The screen is the real star of the show though, best screen I've ever seen on a laptop.

There's a reddit post exposing the widespread failure of hinges popping out by normal uses to the point where the screen corner will lift out. Currently there's a class action lawsuit being run by lawfirm M&r LLP. They are currently gathering data for compensating consumers unaware by this. According to that post, MSI's warranty doesn't cover that defect and will refuse to service it. So buyer beware.

If you want oled, there are several 16" lasus laptops with 4060/4070 that are a few hundred more but are much thinner/lighter and provide the same performance. You don't need much wattage to equal the older 3070ti

Curious - would this laptop be OK spec-wise for 4K video editing? Want to edit some videos taken by my samsung phone... By "OK", I mean, would rendering of a 2 minute video take 10 hours of 1 hr, or something like that, becuase obviously I'm a newb. Thanks in advance!

This would be overkill for that but ya, this would be perfect given the oled
