The 40ft green ones are 16ga. The 75ft is 12ga.

Only if you prefer cords that get hot while in use.



One end traps the plug, but I wouldn't call it "locking". The other end is a standard male plug.



Even on 15A circuits a 12GA extension is what you want if the extension is long.

Anybody happen to notice that this is a 12/2 cord? There are only 2 conductors (wires) instead of the usual 3. This is stated in the Specifications tab on the Lowes website. It says: Number of Conductors - 2; Number of Prongs - 3.

Do you mean at the store you just visited?

How do you know this? It's really a store by store or region clearance and YMMV. Different than deal is dead

Anyways BS still shows some stores at $24.92 (looks to be same stores as before) with a timestamp of 5 minutes ago.

AWG 12/3 ; 12 Gauge / 15 AMP , 125V. Contractor Grade. SJTW. Made in USA. Pretty good if you can get it at $25. I got two.

Ordered one for pickup. They only had 1 available in my area. I figured it was probably an inventory issue but 3 minutes after the order I received a notice that it was ready for pickup. This should work perfect for the electric snow blower.

Although the Lowes website says it's a 12/2 3-prong extension cord and the Specs say it's 2 conductor, the bottom right corner of the front of the box says AWG 12/3 (in very small print). Just bought one for $24.92.

Check other lowes in your area. Any lowes that has this in stock will be priced at 24.92. If your lowes is out of stock, then the full price of 99.98 will be shown.
