This seems to be the regular price? In fact, it's cheaper right now at some other online retailers like discount tackle.

Oh you know it! I've fished and eaten fish from all over the midwest and west and Mexico too and pan fried walleye with a little butter is on my top 3 of delicious fish. Some areas like Iowa/South Dakota call them sauger too, but I think it's a bit different fish. Probably be great served fish and chips style with a light batter. My favorite fish for that is ling cod caught fresh in our N Coast of CA.

Saugers are a cousin to walleye but are different, usually found in river systems. Walleye are good eating but far from the best lol. Way overrated here in MN.

Not many lakes around north Jersey with walleye, but thinking the combo kit for 9.99 is a good kit to have when needed?

Walleye were hitting hard this year in Lake Erie and upper Niagara River.

Can't wrong with salmon. My favorite salmon varieties are from our Pacific Ocean and Alaska too, especially the sockeye. Fark, now I'm craving some.

Walleye is one of the most delicious frestwater fish. Too bad there are not any in CA, that I know of. I catch them in the midwest and down in arkansas. The sauger is its own fish, but very similar but smaller as well as a little aggressive. I would say it is first, blugill second, catfish, then trout... As far as inshore fish I catch and will eat.

The best fish I've ever eaten, hands down, was a blackened salmon at Applebee's. Never replicated since, quit ordering it.

Damn, I can't wait for spring! Stocking up during winter tackle sales is one of life's great pleasures.

Hopatcong, Monksville & Greenwood are all pretty good for walleye in north Jersey.
