Great camera. I bought this refurb kit a couple months ago. My camera looked brand new. Came with a shutter count of 0. I highly recommend this. My latest photos on my Instagram were taken with it. Check out for examples https://www.instagram.com/v3g0pho..._source=qr
Nikon is doing great. Record profit margin in 2023, they have moved from entry level products and DSLR to more a expensive mirrorless lineup. They are selling $4000 Z8s instead of $400 superzooms.

Expired? Shows as $1,599.95 now... I had seen it at the same price but was chewing on it.

How's Z5's autofocus for shooting sports? Tight budget but want to shoot indoor highschool basketball. I have to figure a fast (f/2.8) zoom too so used price point is probably the only way to attain this. Any help will be appreciated.

Z5 is one of worst for fast action sport and birds.

BAD-Z5($750) 4fps

FAIR- Z62, Z50 ($500) 11fps

OK- D3300 ($200)/D5500 ($400) 5fps

GOOD- D7500/D7200($400) 10fps, ZF($2000) 20fps

GREAT- Z9/Z8, D500 ($600) 10fps

FTZ adapter is great for 2.8 70-200 indoor. 70-300 VR is excellent daylight.

Is Nikon even long term viable at this point? I was into Nikon gear about 10 years ago with a D700. All my fellow Nikon shooters have gone to Sony or Canon. What's the chances of Nikon folding in the next couple of years?

More people are coming back to Nikon due to $2000 ZF with good autofocus, FTZ glass, third party Z glass, third party Z adapter that can use Canon EF/FD, M, etc.

z5,z6,z7 series are disappointing for value and AF when a $1000 A73 beats it for 6 years. R6 and R8 are better value

The $500 Z50 is a good entry level versus the A6000 and R50.

D7500 is 8fps even with 14 bit raw and D7200 is 6 fps (5 fps with 14 bit RAW).

D7500 is a great sports/wildlife camera.
