Why not just buy an outdoor candle from Walmart for 5 bucks. Burn the candle. Then use the candle bucket? That's what I do.

Perhaps it contains a miniscule amount of lead. Rather than deal with the testing and relabeling of the product, they likely decided it isn't worth their time, or they sell a California specific variant.

I have my original pitboss bucket that I've lined with some foil for "just in case" grease.. Inside that foil I put an empty beer can that I've ripped the entire top off with some pliers, and when that beer can gets full of grease I toss it and insert a new "top off" beer can..

make you own using. any of the following

- paint can
- totomato paste/big pasta sauce can


use a spare wire to make the handle and lline it with alumin foil when using to keep it clean.

You're comparing avoirdupois ounces with US customary fluid ounces. The two units don't even measure the same physical quantity.
