Tried once ....and dollar shave club blades are terrible...I just can't get a clean shave with this piece of garbage....these are not worth even a penny

The blades have gone down hill, when they first came out they where sharp and lasted..last time we tried them horrible quality

These are absolute garbage. DSC used to have decent blades for the price, they changed last year and are now awful. Bic level quality now, maybe worse. Do not waste any money on this.

Thanks. Will prob try to find a cheap mach 3 handle + 2 blades or something to try it out again. Seems like older 'tech'.

Best advice from me is to get a twin blade or atra razor, and hunt down bulk blades on ebay. Don't get caught up in expensive triple+ blades. I typically get around 30 cartridges for $10. I have a light beard, and get a month a blade. And, yes, you have to rinse them between shaves. You'll have to try a couple of providers to get the ones you like. Spend your $$$ on a great razor. I have a perfect one that's older than you or your dad.

Yeah good call. I remember a few years ago I would recommend DSC to anyone who was looking to switch up but ever since they sold out to Unilever the quality has gone downhill. I'm using Amazon Basics razors now and quite happy with them.

Mach3 has been the best for me. I have used bic, dsc, schick etc but never liked those.

Hmm. Reddit says these new Club Blades are crap, Gillette sued them on design and they reverted to a crap blade design. I got a pack today for .71, so basically free. Thanks OP.

So the question is get the closeout DSC starter kit for $5 to get the handle?

That is a rhetorical question of course, I will do that to get 10 blades and a handle and travel shave cream for $5 altogether, and do one or two use shaves.

Quality may be bad like everyone's saying. I haven't tried these yet. I bought 2 packs. And 2 packs for $1 each is not bad IMO. Even if each blade lasts a week (depending on usage). I think it's still worth it
