Use them for sleep wear. 56% cotton sucks.

I have these in every color (XS). After a few washes, they get a bit snug and the crotch is cut sort of high. In any case, they are my everyday gym pants.

The light gray looks like it's identical to off white

Can't tell if you're joking. That saying is not meant to apply in any context where sweatpants would be appropriate attire.
It's appropriate to me. I wear with my nice clean white or black shoes with a matching top as well

LOL I can't imagine thinking that the most basic comfortable pant is in or out of style. It's only out of style if you're severely overweight. On a nice fit body, they look pretty nice. How fit are you bro?
I guarantee you any professional stylist will tell you the opposite is true. No matter your body shape, if you have the option of choosing between two pairs of pants, the one that actually fits your measurements without excessive fabric will be more flattering. Baggy clothes make fit people look sloppy/lazy and childish, and they make overweight people look even more overweight than they actually are.

With the exception of specific types or portions of clothes, like capes, shawls, robes, or parts of tops where the loose fabric is only an accent, everyday clothes are designed to fit your body's measurements. Believe it or not, you can make a pair of properly fitting pants that are just as comfortable, if not more so, as these and aren't unseemly to wear outside the house.

Thinking that way ignores the fact that whenever you step outside, merely by your presence you are affecting the environment other people have to perceive.

After having our basic needs met, our everyday surroundings have more impact on our well-being (not just happiness) than anything else. If you had a choice, would you prefer to be surrounded by tacky amateur graffiti and gaudy billboards or unspoiled nature and beautiful architecture?

There are plenty of very comfortable clothes that don't look so ugly. There are clothes that actually fit your body and yet are also flexible and cozy like sweatpants.

Well you can always try to bring back the unflattering regular style sweat pants. That's what these are, just better looking and better fitting sweat pants.
These aren't better fitting than standard sweatpants. They *are* standard sweatpants. One of the Amazon photos says it's "relaxed" fit, and you can see it in how they fit on the models. I'm sure there are baggier sweatpants out there, but these are not any more form-fitting than average sweatpants.

Given the choice, I'd prefer to stay away from people like you that care what other people are wearing. Good day

Search images for "britney spears wearing sweatpants." Speaking on an entirely superficial level, and comparing one choice of clothes vs another (rather than her looks overall), to me that's proof that an appealing body won't make poorly-fitting clothes look good, and poorly-fitting clothes will do nothing but detract from an appealing body.

Every person with functioning vision "cares" about what they see in the same way they care about what they hear, touch, taste, or smell. It's just a matter of differing in the degree to which you are affected by what you perceive.

I'm not sure why my preference for certain clothes should offend you any more than a preference for spicy food or rock music. I'm not making a judgment about people wearing these clothes, except to the extent that they've decided it's wrong or silly to care about whether their outfit is likely to have a positive or negative effect on other people.

There's a misguided ideal, in this country in particular, of the "noble" individual who does what he wants regardless of what other people think. It always reminds me of a friend from high school who told me he "doesn't give a f___ what other people think." The problem is, unless you remember to reflect frequently on your behavior, you risk turning admirable traits (authenticity, acceptance of people who don't fit the mold, etc.) into the opposite. In his case, being "himself," unconcerned with other people's perceptions of him, had the effect of alienating other people, not bc they were stuck up, but bc he became a total jerk.

Some people wear clothes to impress other people.

Some wear because they like the comfort rather than focus on impressing others.

That's funny because when your Google "sweat pants vs joggers" you will find numerous articles, even from fashion retailers, explaining the differences.

But sure I will believe your M.C. Hammer looking Hanes or Gildan sweat pants are the same as joggers 😏

Mr. "Functioning vision" might want to use that functioning vision to explain why even Hanes would say something like "sweat pants and joggers." Wouldn't that be like saying "sweatpants and sweatpants?"
