I had one s22i barely used and it takes 2 months to sell it for $360. it does not hold value.

Sooo, not a good deal? My Dr wants me to get an elliptical anyway for my back but a friend thought that a Peloton would be better.

Ifit is not as popular as other training app, and NordicTrack is closed system.

I have an S22i and it's great. IF you pay for iFit and do the coached rides it's really fun. The motor and incline matches what you see on screen, so if the instructor goes up a hill the bike automatically leans up and the resistance goes up as well. To be honest I don't use mine enough as I did when I first got it, but when I was using it every other day it was a fun workout and you got to explore some cool places you'd probably never ride in person. If you don't pay for iFit you can still use the bike in manual mode, which is basically just a virtual track that shows your current stats as you ride. I think they also have some free instructor-led rides from time to time. I got to the point where I was using my Apple Watch and Apple Fitness while riding the bike in manual mode, which is also an option if you don't want to pay for iFit. The downside is you can't use your NordicTrack screen for that.. you have to use your phone or a nearby tv.
