This is a good deal, but be aware it is not the Sonicare that has been on the market for years and years - it is a different, smaller model which takes different brushes (which are considerably cheaper than the "regular Sonicare" brushes).

This toothbrush is fine but while it is rechargeable via USB, it requires a proprietary cable instead of USB C or even Micro USB. I find this unnecessarily antiquated and wasteful.

Sounds like they changed the model at some point as it did have USB-C and now its proprietary? I guess the brush base being wet and using USB-C were not a good combination (see reports of burning etc).

Would have gotten it if it were USB-C. I got the brush heads in a separate deal but they only work with this model and are not universal.
