I got this from Amazon (refurbished) last November for $1399 and I've seen it sold by others for around the same or less. This is a definite bump in price, especially for a used model.

Also, I thought the 1TB model had a 10-core CPU and the 512GB model had the 8-core? EDIT: I'm right. The 1TB model with this same model number is 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU:
