Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
People need to stop relying on Brickseek for Lowe's clearance inventory. It hasn't been accurate for many months. This deal IS available..maybe for you, maybe not, but I saw this deal at $59 at a store in Durham, NC area weeks ago (and it was actually MARKED $59). You got to get out to the actual stores, look in the overheads, have the people in the store look up the item number in their store computer and tell you the closest store that has it and their price. Personally, I passed on the deal when I saw it. Seemed decent, but not amazing. If I didn't already have multiple cordless drills, I might have bought it. Get off your ass and go to the store and stop complaining. Someone has been nice enough to tip you off to a deal that IS out there...it just requires some work.

Your general point about people perpetually complaining here certainly has some merit. But that said, folks creating posts also need to sometimes "get off their ass" a bit more when posting deals.
You stated "You got to get out to the actual stores, look in the overheads, have the people in the store look up the item number in their store computer and tell you the closest store that has it and their price". That's fine, but that information belongs in the OP. It's not blindingly obvious to the average reader here. The OP actually paid $59 for something that was priced at $79 for them, but is generally priced at $169 on the web site. That clearly shows that there is a volatile pricing situation.
I appreciate everyone who takes the time and trouble to create posts here, but let's not pretend that there isn't room for improvement in the quality of some of those posts, and attacking those who raise valid concerns is just inappropriate.
TLDR: Putting "YMMV" in the title for deals like this is necessary, but not sufficient, IMO.
I saw two on the upper shelf, probably 25' off the floor at a local store, with a sticker showing the item number.
If I go to Lowes.com and select that store it showed that item to be $169. Brickseek showed $169.
Should I still get an employee to bring one down to scan the price off the phone or it will be $169 anyway?
Just ask the employee to look it up in their device by the item number. They dont have to actually scan it. There is a reasonable chance it will be less than $169.

That's a fair point. I don't think it should HAVE to be listed in every post, but you still have a point. I understand that some people won't be able to replicate a YMMV deal, but to post a comment complaining that you can't replicate a deal is also not helping the situation...not in the slightest.
