This is an interesting product and company. It's a high output flashlight with a very long throw distance, so you can light things up that are very (VERY) far away.

Wurkkos marketed a TD01 model which reviewers and people on reddit loved, except for the fact that it did not sustain high output for a long time. People online suggested it would be perfect if they added a buck driver (voltage modulator that allows for more steady and sustained output, as far as I understand). Wurkkos reps showed up on reddit to discuss it with people sometimes and eventually went ahead and listened to the community. They posted a video on youtube comparing the TD01 with the TD01C with the buck driver and showing test results. I have yet to see an in-depth review, but everything I've seen on reddit and youtube seems to indicate that this is a really great value and competes with lights that cost 3 times as much (Acebeam L19 v. 2).

I'd never ordered directly from Wurkkos, but I went ahead and placed an order last week and so far everything seems great. I contacted them with a question and received a fast, friendly, and helpful reply. Waiting for my light to arrive in a week or so.

Overall they make pretty good flashlights for the cost. My only real gripe is they contacted me on reddit a few years ago trying to give me free flashlights in return for good reviews of them. I know this is commonplace now but it rubbed me the wrong way.

This is a beast. If I didn't just lose my job, I'd probably purchase one.

Paypal payment confirmation is: You paid $41.64 USD to 深圳市沃克思达科技有限公司.

Lol - for the price, it seems like it should be OK. Watched a few YouTube video reviews. If not, oh well. Not holding my breath!

I have probably bought close to 50 wurkkos lights over the past few years and the quality is amazing for the price. I give them as gifts all the time. Check out the r/flashlight on Reddit and you will see tons of positive reviews. If you do like 2 seconds of research you will find these are pretty great.

Why would you need 50 flashlights in a few years? 😂 If they're that good, they must not last long.

If you read my whole comment you would see that I give them as gifts. People who have only ever seen old maglites and the $1 lights at the dollar store are always blown away when they see a proper flashlight. If you count lights from other manufacturers I have bought for myself it's well over 100.

I bought this light, I think it's good.Beam goes far, and battery lasts a long time. Left it outside of one rainy night still works without any issues.
