Seems like a good price - was $9.90 for the last few weeks, according to Keepa.

For the present, I have plenty of JB Weld and a cheap plastic welder, so I'll hold off.

Can this stuff be used to mold a new piece of plastic like a clip that broke?

Good Stuff, used their brand to weld together some Sony headphones that broke. Years later they're still perfect other than the batteries!

No, sugru might be a better bet. However, repairing and replacing plastic parts that require mechanical strength is hard to do. 3d printing has made it more viable but still not as strong as a fully injection molded part

Not recommended. This stuff would be hard to mold and when it hardens it's kinda crystalline and brittle. Try to find or make a 3d printed one out of a better material.

Great product which I've used on ABS, fiber reinforced... etc. definitely have to let it cure to get strength before heavy use. When cured, color is more of dark charcoal gray than pure black that standard automotive parts are. Just an fyi...

It's advertised as setting quicker. Based on the Amazon reviews it seems there are some QC issues with people receiving their liquids dried out. Personally, I'd rather spend the extra dollar and get JB KWIK.
