I bought this membership today only. I can already see the $50 Walmart cash in my account which can be used in store or online purchase and also see email from Amex.

"Great news! You recently used your Amex Offer at WALMART PLUS ANNUAL"

Thanks for using your American Express® Card for the Amex Offer below:

You do not need to spend $35 to get free shipping with Walmart Plus. This is the biggest reason why I like it.

I got that $50 CB pop-up as soon as I logged into my WM acct but no Amex offer.

I am in same boat. Don't know if W+ is even worth the 8$ to me.
I noticed that W+ gives faster in-store checkouts. But considering I try to avoid going to a Walmart in person, not sure how much I'd benefit from that.

I'm not trying to be a W+ hater, just trying to figure out if I'm really missing out on some deals vs. Amazon Prime or similar.

ymmv chase 15% cashback offer @ walmart. that plus the $50 walmart cash is a solid deal for chase users who don't have the amex card/offer
$33.30 for the people with the 15% Chase offer and not the Amex offer. Not bad but not $8 either.

Unless you are "living in" Oregon when you sign up, then you "move" back to your old state after the charge goes through.
How can you do that? Does Walmart use the billing address of the card to determine?

I most definitely had a Walmart+ offer for $40 off that was added back in December with an expiration at the end of January. I noted it because my subscription renews next week and was happy the expiration was beyond that date. Now like others are reporting I do not see that offer in my account anymore. Who to blame? Amex or Walmart?

They word it confusingly but that is for free same day shipping from the local store - things like groceries, etc.

There is no minimum order threshold for regularly shipped orders, same as Prime.
Good to know, they do make it sound like it is all orders.

No. They bill based on the zip code you have in your account info at the time you pay.

Check your AMEX account online and look for the rewards section. if you don't see the Walmart+ offer, then it's either not offered for your account or you already added it and you need to check "ADDED" to see which deals you already added to your account. I saw mine this way since I added it back in December

Video streaming with Pluto TV

What does this even mean? Is this a benefit? Pluto TV has always been free.

For those having this issue, it might be from you credit card. I did this last night and amex initially blocked the transaction and I got a similar error but once I validated with amex, and tried again, it went thru

I had the $40 off offer added to my Amex Everyday card. Went to the Wal-mart website where it offered the $50 Wal-mart cash if I signed up again. Added my Everyday card to be charged, and my existing Amex card was charged instead. Grrr. The website is so janky when it comes to payment methods! I started a chat, and the support rep credited the $98 and let me keep the membership, so can't beat that.
