A note about Walmart return via Fedex option.
Today I received two emails from Walmart. First one reads, "Your refund is on its way. Sorry things didn't work out. We've initiated a refund and wanted to provide a quick overview for you." Then a few hours later, I received a second email "Refund cancellation …Unfortunately, the items we received didn't match your return request. Your return has been canceled, and your original payment method has been charged $XXX.XX again for the items you were refunded for."
I called Walmart customer helpline and was told the exact same thing as the email and to send in the correct item which was impossible because I've already sent them the correct item. Walmart won't tell me what item was received and refused to send back the original item back to me. So my only option left is a credit card chargeback.
Safest return option is to wait in line at Walmart.

I have an Amex blue with the $40 offer, and i had the $50 offer on Walmart's website.
I clicked on subscribe, chose my Amex card, and by some reason they charged my Walmart Credit Card.
I contacted Customer Service and they told me that they couldn't switch the payment method, and that "walmart" did that because my 1st payment method failed.
They had to issue a refund on the whole amount, I lost the $50 from Walmart cash, and if I try to subscribe now the offer is gone.

But I pulled up the Walmart chat with CSR to help and they say i'll get the credit with their help. We'll see if that happens...

To answer No, my default card wasn't Amex blue however I selected specially for the plus subscription payment. However when you change the page it goes back to default to need to be careful.
