Amazon has select Godin guitars on sale at a significant discount from regular price. Shipping is free.

These prices on Godin guitars come and go seemingly at random per the whims of Amazon's algorithm so no clue how long any of these prices will last. Nonetheless these are good prices on vintage-inspired Canadian-made guitars.

If you're lucky you might see a coupon as well, but I don't see any myself.

Available:Description (Session HT)

Every musician wants the same thing in a guitar: great sound, versatility, and a striking look. We took all of these criteria into account when designing this instrument. Combine quality hardware with flawless manufacturing right here in Canada and you get the Godin Session HT Aztek Red. With a fixed bridge for increased sustain and tuning stability, the Session HT Aztek Red is clean, classy, reliable and easy to play. Its extremely thin finish offers enhanced tonal deflection, and its HSS pickup configuration gives you a multitude of tones to take on any style of music.

Godin's are great quality and quite nice guitars. I picked up the Session T-Pro when it was posted recently and really like it. (It's my third Godin.)

I have an older session Ltd start with Seymours as it is definitely on par with American made fenders.

Godin makes fine guitars, usually equivalent to the bigger brands' upper-middle tier offerings, and sometimes the upper tier as well, at a reasonable price. The woods are mostly (if not exclusively) sourced in North America, which prevents over-harvesting trees of some species.

Godin's brands include Godin, Seagull, Art & Lutherie, Simon and Patrick, and Norman. The electrics are only sold within the Godin brand. I've thought every Godin acoustic I've tried was absolutely great. The Velocity I had was a fine super Strat type guitar (with a slightly smaller body); I just wish I had made friends with the neck. A pawn shop near me has a Freeway Classic with a couple of chips in the finish for $220, but it hasn't sold in 9+ months.

The only downsides are the occasionally odd electric guitar shapes (IMHO; like the Radium and the Exit, with their one-and-a-half cutaways) and weak resale. That resale smarts.

The pro models are great deals. Not easy to find North American made guitars with pickups of that quality at this price.

I remember when these were going for $350. I regret not buying one then.

Look for Godins used. Incredible value (unless you'll have to sell).

Great guitars that somehow don't carry any resale value.

Can also vouch for Godin guitars, I have a 90s G series. They were made of Canadian parts but assembled in the USA so they could be "Made in America". Honestly one of my best guitars in terms of fit & finish and I own probably 15ish guitars? All higher end or more collectable stuff, other than an Indio Tele.
