8.5 ounces of rice packaged in a disposable plastic wrapper. Nothing sustainable about it. Anyway, I'll pass but thanks nonetheless to the OP for passing along a sale that may interest other folks.

No, it's somewhere between $11-13. I was there the other day and was thinking to myself, I love this stuff, but $2 for a small bag of rice is a lot, especially when my kids waste it so frequently. The white rice packets at Costco are pretty awesome, way cheaper

Price per oz is very expensive. But for emergency use, when forgotten cook your own or just substitute for the takeout rice are ok.
My local restaurant charge 1.99 for the rice and not good quality

I bought some last month and the regular prices was $12.89 (Harlem, NY location) but it was on sale for $9.89. I only buy it when on sale.
