Good deal. I just did the same trading in the Tab S8 Ultra with EPP for $259 (tax included). Picked up at a local Samsung Experience store. The screen is noticeably brighter and the speakers are louder as well. Overall, a good upgrade for me in that price range.
Where's are the crazy Samsung deals gone? Holidays seemed pretty quiet.
I started noticing it about 12 months ago and someone mentioned 6 months ago. I think the site received a lot of work and I am guessing it was from a consulting firm as so much of the ability to get crazy deals has been lost. I think it was just a tightening down.

Absolutely agree. When it's cheaper to buy a new S23 Ultra through Google Fi (with 4mo of service and no trade in) for less than trading in an S22 Ultra at Samsung for an S23 U, you know things have gone sideways.
I just tried with my EDU account. It worked with either graphite or beige color, and you can trade in either S8 or S8+ ($700 trade in value). Total will be $319 + tax (of original price). Somewhat good deal but not yet enticing enough for me since I have s7+ which is only $500 trade in value. I need a crazy deal too. 😂

Might simply be that they've had a good enough year to not need the crazy deals. Shame though, would love to trade in my S7 for an S9, but I think I just got spoiled by the excellent deals in the summer of 2021. Man, those were the days...
It's when traditionally Samsung starts offering better deals. I think it's nearing the end of their fiscal year (don't quote me on that) but they are also going to be launching the s24 ultra phone at the end of January so I'm expecting some phone + Tablet trade in bundle deals as well.

Interesting. Is this anyone else's experience? I got my S8+ Ultra stellar deal in November before last. I see chatter above they fixed this and would upgrade here but don't want to miss out on this. Doesn't seem to be getting much thumb traction.

I couldnt pass up the s7fe $500 trade in value for the s9+ at $319. Worth it for me.
