Bought this last Aug for $300 model M80B from Walmart. Think they discontinued selling at Walmart. Bought it and think later but end up keeping it. I'm fine with 60hz.

VA panel, NOT IPS - How much of a difference does this actually make if you want to use this thing for a two-monitor setup (on a large desk)?
HDR10 only - It's hard to find monitors that do more than HDR10 in 2023/2024. Some don't even do HDR10.

Both limitations to be fully expected at this price point.

If you're looking for something similar to this with better specs, keep an eye out for the 43" Odyssey Neo G7. It's 4K, 144Hz, and has gone on sale for $500 frequently. It's got some ghosting issues reported, but I've never had an issue. For the value it's been solid.

How is the text display on this monitor? I will mainly use it to display/work spreadsheets.

It's going to be roughly equivalent to a 1080p monitor at 22" - so just fine

Yeah, the value it represents has spoiled me. I have two now and consider that price/performance to be the new standard. I actually scored one for $375 over Christmas as it was down to $450 EPP/EDU and I had a $25 code + $50 from well known incentives.

60 at 4k is pretty much the level of my PC 3090TI

It's BGR not RGB. Text will not be as sharp, if you're sensitive to that. I can't stand it, but my wife can.

The 32" M80C had one of the best text sharpness of a VA monitor, if you're ok with the size.

Thank you. You'd think people would put it in the title by now (or at least the description).

Text is good, but if you use the spreadsheet office 365 (computer mode), it is unbearably laggy. I kept it just because I can use samsung dex wirelessly.

I have been using this for work for the last 1.5 years, everything looks crisp. I have a 2.5-3 ft viewing distance due to the size of the monitor.

My wife deals in spreadsheets. Recommend 4k and IPS.
