Got the 2 rods/reels in yesterday. All looks good with the rod and reel. Ordered some 30 pound braid for the reels and can't wait to do some surf fishing when the weather warms up and hope to pull in some Redfish with it Smilie.

Rod tip broken. Package is bad. Reel is heavy and rod can slide inside box. If dropped tip side down all the weight will slam on the tip.

got mine today, lousy package. the tip stucked out of package. Luckly it's not broken. Single piece rod with minor scratch.
This is my first penn spinning reel. The inconvenient surprise for me is it has NO anti-reverse off switch.

Mine came this morning, fast shipping. No issues with the one piece rod. The handle gave me fits putting on the right side but it would go into the left side with no issues. I eventually got it on. All in all for $35, I wished I grabbed two or three.
