Seriously though, I just received five cases of the single serve Mott's in this month's S&S order. All had expiration dates of early last month. All but one of the other food items were close dated. Last month received a bunch of close dates including a case of mayo that was less than two months out. I am not sure Amazon is good place to stock up any longer.
I did get a refund on the applesauce and one other item that jumped 50% in price between the date my order was supposedly finalized and the date it shipped. You really have to watch them now.

Last month I got the three pack of Hellmann's mayonnaise when I got it only had 7 days left on the shelf life they did give me a refund - yesterday I received McCafe ICED One Step Mocha Frappe, Keurig Single Serve K-Cup Pods 0nly 20 pk supposed to been a 80 pack - last week I ordered 2 packs of 50 rubber washers and received only 2 washers ( short 98 washers )

I used to just skip S&S items when I did not want them. But they kept doing sneaky shit like items unavailable when I check just before the shipment date are suddenly available at a jacked up price you never had a chance to review. I cancelled hundreds of items over the last couple weeks and now plan to keep it down to just what I order that particular month.

One of the biggest problems I see is if Amazon keeps screwing up and we keep getting refunds eventually we get banned from Amazon for having excessive refunds
