Consider it a rebate card or another $10 off if you need battery accessories.

Deep cycle batteries should be charged between uses as well, but can tolerate much deeper discharge without damage, so long as they're charged pretty quickly after use.
A starting battery can give you a much higher load in amps; a deep cycle battery is a reliable power source for long periods at lower amp loads.
As this vendor is doing everything by mail, and not a big outfit they are not charging a "core charge" or deposit since the cost to ship it back far exceeds any deposit. Not worth it. But worth it for you to take it to Advanced Auto or your local junk yard which pays you as well. Might be $5-$15 depending on the place.
In the end, many places will send all the batteries back to the manufacturer to melt down the lead or metals inside for new batteries.
The same can be charged for things like alternators, brake calipers and starters where they can clean them, rebuild them and resell them.

It's not like Sams club, Autozone, Pep boys, Costco etc when warranty exchange is needed where you can just walk into a store and swap.
Unless they have a distribution network locally, being without a battery for more than 1 day for some might be a problem if it requires shipping cross country.
Unclear how warranty works. If there is no local distribution network to swap, it will be at least $50 by UPS ground just to the next state. Going to be expensive cross country and you'll be out of a battery for several day/week.
You could also cross-check online at other places like YouTube videos, I always look for a consensus because there are a lot of idiots.
There is also the crazy idea of looking to see if you can find labeling and such on the one you have now.
Here is a chart at Advance Auto Parts, for example:

Most importantly, the advantage of Walmart is they are everywhere. I put the receipt for the battery in the car, so if it dies while I'm traveling, I can warranty swap it almost anywhere in the US.
Interestingly, the only batteries I've ever had to warranty are the ones from Costco. They used to be the best price to warranty ratio ($70 with a 4 year warranty for a 24F) but they are now $120 and 3 years, so the $50 1 year Walmart is still the best option for me.

AGM prices have gotten out of hand lately. This company is bringing a high quality option to the market at a very low price and I applaud that. I would not hesitate to equip my boat with this brand based on how it's performing in my daily driver. AGM batteries offer some advantages in a marine environment, like not needing acid levels checked in awkward places, and not burping out acid that damages your boat's battery compartment. If upgrading from flooded batteries, I would make sure that your boat engine's charging system outputs at least 14.5V (more important if you spend days away from shore power), and have an onboard charger that's rated for AGM charging. AGMs like a little higher float voltage to achieve 100% charge.
Edit: I should add that these are primarily high amperage starting batteries. They can be used for tilt/trim, lights, or other accessories on a limited basis, but deep discharging them is a no-no, so I wouldn't recommend them for trolling motors. As with flooded batteries, trolling motor duty is best suited to a deep cycle battery.like this:
