Given how technologically superior this product is vis-a-vis the competition, what's the reasoning behind the heavily discounted sales? I recall Target had one a few weeks ago as well ...

270 for the xm5 is pretty much at the upper bound of a reasonable price point for them imo, i highly doubt they are selling that much at 400. keep in mind they are also a fair bit more delicate in the construction due to how they designed the swivel mechanism for the cups

i own and use both, considering what you can find the xm4 at (especially refurb/used), the xm5s are not that much better to be $400
