Yup. I lucked into my first All Clad many years ago because my ex hated using it since it was "so hard to clean" (I guess she'd never heard of soaking dishes?). Anyway, she's gone now, but the pan's still here and I'll never go back to nonstick.

I ordered D3 sets from this site in the past and the items arrived in essentially new condition, very happy with the quality. Some cosmetic damage to the boxes but the cookware inside was pristine.

D3 is nothing but Aluminum is sandwiched between two stainless steel layers so there are three layers called D3, if D5 then two aluminum and three stainless steel. All are stainless steel cookware

Really want to bite on some of these items but the research I have done makes it sounds like getting the 'second quality' items is a gamble with its true quality. Does anyone have any experience with ordering 'second quality'?

How? Actually stainless steel pans are wonderful and need maintaining properly

I've ordered multiple items from this site, and I could not tell you why anything was a "second quality".

I got one packaging and one second quality.
The second quality had a small wrinkle on the edge of the pan,
which doesn't affect performance at all.
They're very nice pans.
