I have a mixture of DeWalt, craftsman, Milwaukee. None of my craftsman v20 line tools have let me down. Some of the Craftsman are nearly identical to the DeWalt. There is nothing wrong with the v20 line. They are the best bang for the buck when on sale.

The batteries are a bargain. I use these 4ah batteries with adapters in tools they aren't even made for. I even use them in my Dyson vacuum. No issues.

Would this work with the older craftsman light that requires 14.4v?

Don't buy anything battery operated from Craftsman. They will just discontinue selling the battery and leave you with a paper weight. They screwed me over on the V60 battery operated mower.

Do they fit the craftsman 19.2v power tools?
the 19.2V are designed way different and have a stem load not a flat load like the 20V do.. but 19V set I have still works great but have seen 2 dead batterys out of 5 that I have go dead.. I have seen videos on youtube that might revive them but have not taken the time too try..been using them since 2010 and 3 different drills and the 7.5 inch saw - all still working fine..

I bought the V60 when they went on clearance at Lowes. 1 died. About 4 other ones still good. I think Ace Hardware sells the V60 still.

I just read where the Cub Cadet is the same 60V battery with a different plastic tab location, so you can swap the tops and it works again.

We are talking about the summer '19 sale right? I bought one and it is still going strong. Bit bummed about the unavailability of the battery (no Ace does not have one), but truth is, if they had one, it would cost more than the $200 we paid in '19, and I would probably pass.

Nice deal, too bad it's not for Dewalt. I have some Craftsman stuff and it's honestly pretty decent for the money.

I dont get a shipping option. But if you do have a shipping option and have a lowe's business rewards card (amex), you'll probably get offered free shipping at checkout if you use your lowes card.

You can find complete kits for almost every manufacturer. It's called getting them at a discounted price and flipping them back out. Or if you're in a city where theft is still running rampart, someone walked out with that Craftsman set and flipping it.
Theft is the correct answer.

Which Dyson/adapter are you using? I'm in the market for an adapter and battery.

With almost any powertool, if you want power and longevity make sure its a brushless motor in it. A little more expensive but you get what you pay for. If you find a brushless onsale. all the better.

Not always. I've flipped a bunch of Ryobi and Dewalt sets from deals.
