Wondering if there are any relevant reviews and data on this 85" model with the 120hz panel. All x80k reviews are standardized to the 60hz 65". Are we to assume this panel will have the same poor local dimming, etc performance, when bigger screens of a line are known to be different panels?
What do you watch? It'll do for sports and bright rooms. Movies with the lights turned down, not so much.
Thanks, the room I have it in has a decent amount of light but not too bright. I have a 75 inch 4 year old Vizio now but have been wanting to go bigger. I know this is still a $1300 TV but curious how it compares to others around this price range.

LED TV's without good local dimming have halo's and lighted backlight and uneven backlight you can see all the time in dark rooms. In a bright room that stuff is washed out, so you notice it less.
This is why people with dark viewing conditions often go for oled, or at least look for a LED with good local dimming and of higher quality than the cheaper models.
