The Walmart deal for x90k 75 inch at $800 was a good deal.
At this price point, it's better to go for an LG OLED 77 INCH B series if you can grab one for around $1500
If you really need an 85 inch, the I would go for a Samsung QN SERIES that goes on sale on their site a few times a year in the $1600 price point, much better tv

Just to let you guys know my Sony 65x85j failed less than two years if you buy Sony make sure you get warranty. Their quality is questionable! And also after the backlight fails it's not fixable because how it's constructed. I do love the colors of Sony but at this point I'm not sure about purchasing another one.
X90cl is back on sale at Costco for 1999. Newer higher end model with local dimming etc. and includes 5 year warranty. I bought one last time it was on sale and its quite good. Not AS good looking as my LG Oled it replaced, but bit 1000% less burn-in problems and the Google TV interface works great on this TV. Much smoother than on my Hisense kitchen TV.
Wait what? Isn't that the opposite of normal, most TV's look better in dark rooms, this one is opposite, how?
TVs like this look awful in a dark room. Rtings gave it a horrible contrast rating. Blacks will look gray in a dark room. There will also be parts of the TV that look darker than others, as well as very likely having bright spots (clouding). All of those problems pretty much go away (or are far less noticeable) if you have a light on. The only TVs that look better in the dark are ones with good contrast and black uniformity. OLED, of course, as well as VA panels and TVs with good local dimming. IPS panels are nasty in the dark. This thing is very mediocre. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...uniformity.

I just bought both X90CL and x80 from Costco a few weeks ago for my living room and basement. Honestly, I don't think the differences are very noticeable, just for regular watching. Maybe I am not very picky 😉
