For me, not good. For others, it's fine. I use only cotton because of skin issues.

Microfiber doesn't wear well and gets pills. 100% cotton, long staple or extra long staple are the best.

lol it's been 7 years since I bought these sooo... Unsure if it's the same quality but I like them. Mine is 500tc instead of 550
- They're crisp which allows air flow between skin and bed so it keeps you cool.
Crispiness: 8/10
Cold to the touch: 7/10

Bamboo sheets,
Opposite of crisp, fabric hugs your skin. So heat/moisture doesn't wick away as fast as a crispier bed sheet. Great as a fitted sheet, not so great as flat sheet lol unless for winter. I use the other two as my flat sheets in the summer since they breath easier.
Crispiness: -1/10
Cold to the touch: 9/10
Lol this one was actually from slickdeals.. thought I'd give it a try for like $15

Royal Velvet from JC penny is probably my favorite but.. discontinued. Might be called Wrinkle Guard now but can't guarantee. Mine is 600tc santeen. It's like charter club but softer and less crisp. The one linked is 200tc lower soooo.. I don't know, that's a pretty big difference.
Crispiness: 7/10
Cold to the touch: 8/10

Oh yea, then you have percale sheets. Those are SUPER crisp 10/10.. It's so crisp that it's also loud, feels and sounds like you're sleeping on newspaper lol. I'd avoid.

Avoid polyester too. Good for workout clothes, not good for bed
Actually the Amazon sheets in Mellow Yellow queen size are on sale right now too. I just bought them for about $20

Prefacing This,

With the fact that I have no idea what I am talking about.laugh out loud

But that being said. Clicked on these to have a look. Low and behold these are the exact same sheets I have on my bed now. shake head

Have had them since sometime back in 2019? No pilling. Sleeps cool (enough for me at least). Have held up brilliantly!!!
Mind you I wash all my laundry in cold water and dry in low heat.

Bought another set for half the price I paid five years ago. Thanks OP!!! hug

The Bamboo sheets, one of the reviews with a lot of votes said something about needing a low dryer or they wrinkle? I don't care about wrinkles from a visual point as no one sees my sheets but me and I don't care about how they look just wondering if wrinkles, if present from a high heat dryer, affects how they feel? I tend to dry everything on high.

Seriously? Microfiber and it "sleeps cool"?

Definitely not a chance. Microfibre will trap heat like a sauna.

Perhaps you are someone with unique thermo-regulation…or perhaps you are looking to make a sale.
Now,
Simma' down there...Sparky. Bonk

Is that good or bad?
I find that microfiber doesn't wash clean, no matter temp or setting.

Lol I wash all my stuff in hot water and blast it in the high heat dryer including the bamboo sheets. Seems to come out fine, still feels the same. It does seem to wrinkle if you don't take it out fast enough.

You can get good quality cotton sheet sets for $10-$15 on special. Stop acting like something has to be sh*tty quality for it to be inexpensive. This argument is such a copout.

$170 for queen size. I guess you get what you paid for.
Any recommendations on something closer to the sales price? Saw the Amazon bamboo sale but not sure I want to try something new.

I prefer microfiber over cotton and it's always cool. Too many people here with opinions on microfiber who don't actually use them.

Thanks for this! The Queen Amazon bamboo/viscose in dark grey were $41 and I had a 40% off coupon. Worth a try for $30. Rep'd!
