This is basically buy the 3700-size boxes at a discount, get the bags free. Of course, I expect the boxes to be comparable to Plano models in size but with perhaps cheaper consutruction. However, at this price it could be very worth it. My best price for a Plano 3700 is $5.

Good luck!
Jon

Great deal. Regardless of brand, my gear bags only last about 1 season on the boat. The salt eats the zippers so fast. Thumbs Up!

Got 1 of each for my son. He asked for a backpack for Christmas but they weren't on any sort of sale.

Is this the same Realtree company that owns the realtree camo trademark?

This is an excellent backpack for rc cars. I use it for my 1/18 and 1/24 crawlers. Holds everything i need and then some. I use the bottom compartment to hold the controllers.

My apologies, I do not. My primary use case for these boxes at home is for Snap Circuits, not outdoor recreation. The boxes just have to travel from under the kids bed to downstairs and (hopefully) back.

Good luck!

Apply liquid wrench on a cloth and go over the zippers so the oily residue helps absorb the salt humidity.

wouldn't any oil do the same thing? even 10w-30?

Ordered both and they came today.

The backpack came with five 3700 boxes and other came with eight 3700 boxes.

As far as quality- was impressed with both. These are not high end, but for the price- solid deal and would recommend.

As far as specifics, the backpack is large. Can hold a lot of gear for a backpack - definitely on the larger end of backpack fishing bags which is great for me.

The other bag is good size also and holds the eight 3700 boxes vertically and then has two storage compartments on the sides and one more compartment in the front. Also some storage on the top flap and back of the bag. Nice bag and I would say in the norm for the type of medium size soft sided storage bars I see at cabelas, bass pro, and dicks sporting goods.

FYI- The 3700 boxes are not Plano quality. The are adequate but not top end. A little flimsier for sure but should do the job fine.

Again, overall good bags for the price. Thanks OP.

Hope this helps others.

There's a reason boats don't have zippers. This is disposable trash.
