The last time I bought them they were stale products. I ended up returning the remaining unopened packets.

This deal last popped up when planning food for a bikepacking trip, perfect timing and everything we ate of it seemed quite good and expirations deep into the new year (2024)
There were a couple other more expensive but relatively as cheap items (cashews was one this) by the same brand at the time as well.
Looked like they were selling off old packaging as everything looked different, same prices for new packaging though(I think new is the lighter color)
Offered same price at register too...

This brand is hit or miss. I bought a bunch of nuts like a month ago and they were all great except for the macadamias. The nuts themselves were very small (not really a problem) but had a stale/rancid flavor to them. Only some of the bags, some were fine. Best by date looks like oct 2024. Sort of tasted like something fried in old oil which is odd since they are supposedly dry roasted. The pistachios, mixed nuts and almonds were all great.

Good price, but these nuts are real hit or miss. Had bags of good cashews and bags that are bitter and sour.

Picked up a couple bags of the Fruit and Nut. Looked to be about 80%
peanuts and the rest fruit.

Picked up a variety of different bags, they all seem weird, one had mostly raisins, the other mostly peanuts, not very tasty, have purchased the magic mix in the past it was way better than these current ones

Kroger sells 34oz for 6.99 regularly and the quality is pretty good.
