Other companies give more?
LG - 1 year
Samsung - 1 year
HP - 1 year warranty
Viewsonic - 4 year + advanced replacement (this is the best I've seen)
Dell / Alienware - 3 years
MSI - 2 -3 years depending on model
Asus - 12 - 36 months, depending on model and defect type
AOC - 12 - 36 months, depending on the defect type
Asrock - Very confusing warranty information. Can't say anything for sure.
Will be interested when these get under $500. Sick of seeing smeary IPS monitors with crap black levels with just refresh rate and response time as the same old tired touted features. PC gamers deserve better and this is a good start along with all of the new OLED screens coming out.

I'm not sure why there's a need foe mini-led with local dimming on a 27" monitor, even for movies. If it's for gaming, I guess that's ok, but if it's competitive you don't want local dimming. I want the darker areas brighter as my opponents should be easier to see. Crushed blacks from poor local dimming aren't going to help you.
Yeah I can't see paying 800 bucks for a 27" monitor in this day in age. Grab a decent Ultrawide or other offering.
I'm all for OLED/MiniLED for my main TV, and would love it as a monitor but my 35" Monoprice UW monitors were 279.99 and do just fine for full time WFH. I understand it's not a direct comparison, but I can't see this selling for more than 500 realistically.
Why pick this over the same price QD-OLED from Dell / Alienware ?
MiniLED IPS is probably the best PQ available that is not OLED. OLED will look better, but comes with the downside that it will eventually burn-in. Outside of longevity, the biggest benefit is that MiniLED can get a bit brighter than OLED.

There are more, but you get the idea.
